This is the first of several lessons written for course materials in the web development strategy classes. This paper is a summary of what is taught in the first week of the course. In this first week the student will learn the basics of html structure in the form of tags. The student will also know how to pick an affordable content management system for any business. During this class the student will also learn how to set up a URL, choose a host provider and set up a server. There will be more things written here than will be discussed in the live class for reference materials. Each class will begin with a power point presentation and consist of real life interactions with servers and content management systems. Each class will end with an assessment to assess the retention of the students. The students who successfully pass will receive certificates signed by Maximus McCullough that they can use on resumes and applications.
